Gero Lopina
Writer | SAS Bulletin
Gero Lopina is a being who believes a pen is sharper than a sword. The art of poetry and the literary are carved in his identity, as well as being an empowered campus journalist. He is a public speaker and is highly sociable. Carved in his identity is also the vocality in the disciplines of environmental conservation, alleviation of human suffering, and the empowerment of equality in society.
As of now, he is a Psychology student at the University of San Carlos. He pursues the truth as the Feature Editor of SAS Bulletin, the official publication of the School of Arts and Sciences at USC. He takes both pride and humility in being the Executive President of Carolinian Environmental Society, the only environmental organization at USC. As well, he is the Socio-Cultural Committee Head at USC-Junior People Management Association of the Philippines (JPMAP), a proud member of USC College Red Cross Youth, a member of the lead council in the Sea and Terrestrial Environment Protectors - Philippines (STEP Ph), and a pursuer of fascinating stories with the use of social connections.
